For over 37 years, Mr. Singer has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Tampa where he served as President in 1996-1997, and was the recipient of the Doyle Carlton Memorial Award in 2002 honoring the Kiwanian of the Year. He has also served as a Board Member for many years on the Tmnpa Kiwanis Foundation which serves as the charitable organization of the Club.

He also served as volunteer attorney for the Guardian Ad Litem program in Hillsborough County. In 1996, he was honored by The Florida Bar and the Florida Supreme Court for his pro bona service. He has also been very active as a Board Member of Joshua House, A Kid's Place, LifeLink, and For the Famnily, and has served as member on the Citizens Advisory Commission to the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners. He currently serves as a volunteer attorney for Bay Area Legal Services and for Crossroads Kids Florida.

Mr. Singer is a founding member and former President of the Grand Krewe of Libertalia, the first multi-cultural Krewe in Tampa history.

In 2002, Governor Jeb Bush appointed him to the Florida Commission on Human Relations where he served a four-year term as Commissioner. In 2007, Governor Charlie Crist re-appointed him to the same post where he was elected Chairman. He served as Chairman of the Commission for four years and currently remains a Commissioner.

Mr. Singer serves on the Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee and was their attorney for over 20 years. He led the Hillsborough County legal response team for the re-election of Governor Jeb Bush in 2002. He was also a member of President George W. Bush's Legal Team and actively pmticipated in the 2000 Florida recount. He has been, and continues to be, active as a volunteer in local, statewide, and national political campaigns.

In 2012, Mr. Singer was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to the Judicial Nominating Commission of the 13•h Judicial Circuit. He was recently re-appointed for another four-year term and is serving as Chairman of the Commission beginning August 1, 2018. This Commission interviews potential judicial appointees and makes recommendations to Governor Scott for judicial appointment.

Mr. Singer is incoming Chairman of the Southern District of the Commercial Law League of America. He has served on several corporate for-profit Boards such as Harmony Home Health, LLC, Mullen Avenue Holdings, LLC, and others.

Mr. Singer is a member of the Royal Krewe of Privateers and the Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club.  He is married and has two adult children.
