Brian Battaglia is a lifelong Floridian from Pinellas County and has practiced law since 1986. During his professional career, he has litigated cases at every level of the Florida State Court system, including successfully in the Florida Supreme Court. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Stetson University College of Law, where he taught Alternative Dispute Resolution for eight years.

Brian earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, a law degree from Drake University School of Law, and a Master of Laws degree in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago.

Previously, Brian served as a leader and board member for various public and private organizations, including PEMHS, Inc., The Arc Tampa Bay, Bay Area Legal Services, Inc., Pinellas Opportunity Council, Inc., and was an organizing member, president and trustee with the Community Law Program in St. Petersburg, Florida.
