Dawn Hanson Biography

Dawn Hanson has worked for the State of Florida for 18 years.  For 14 of those years, Dawn has worked in the Executive Office of the Governor as the Director of Administration.  Having worked under four Governors, she has obtained the knowledge, experience, and expertise to navigate the myriad of challenges and expectations that come with different Administrations.  Not only does Dawn work within her own agency, she also reaches across multiple state agencies through the course of conducting state business on behalf of the citizens of Florida.  These experiences allow her to work with variety of stakeholders to accomplish various goals.  Dawn has her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Florida State University.

Dawn and her husband, Bryan, live in Tallahassee along with their two dogs, Coco and Sheba, whom they adopted from the Bahamas.  They also have two grown children, Shelby and Ashley.  On the weekends they enjoy spending time with friends and family at the beach, boating and fishing.
